Challenge
In October 2025, Ecosign Technologies was called in to solve a recurring issue: the buildup of “pitch” contaminants encrusted on the forming section slats. This type of deposit compromises operational performance, reduces the quality of the final product, and increases downtime for maintenance.
Solution
The Ecosign Technologies technical team carried out the application of an exclusive chemical product, specially developed for the removal of organic and inorganic deposits in pulp formation systems. The adopted methodology was simple, safe, and effective, ensuring the safety of all personnel throughout the operation.
Results
The cleaning process was successfully completed in approximately three hours, demonstrating 100% effectiveness in removing the contaminants, as shown in the photos below.

The activity was accompanied by Ecosign Technologies’ technical support team, ensuring full assistance at every stage and direct guidance to the client’s staff during execution.
Future Implications
The results achieved reinforce the efficiency of Ecosign Technologies’ exclusive product as a safe, agile, and highly effective solution for removing organic contaminants in pulp production processes. The employed methodology not only reduces machine downtime but also contributes to improving the quality of the final product and increasing line productivity.
This case serves as a reference for future applications aimed at performance optimization and preventive maintenance in the pulp and paper industry.
